Fijian Burlwood Vase

This Fijian burlwood vase is made from burls found on hardwood trees in the Fiji islands. Burlwood is very dense and is more resistant to splitting than regular wood. The rich and dramatic variations in appearance are created by the twisted woodgrains and this allows for truly one-of-a-kind pieces of art. No two will ever be alike! These have a beautiful blonde finish. If using with fresh flowers or greenery which require water, a glass bottle or jar that would fit inside is required (not included). Made in Fiji.
