Fijian Coconut Bowls (Bilos)

These Fijian coconut bowls or “bilos” are serving bowls made from coconut shells and truly bring a touch of the tropics to your table! Perfect for light foods, snacks and condiments which are cold or at room temperature. These are not made for use with hot foods. Each bilo comes with a base which must be used to give the bilo the stability it needs. Bilos measure about 4 to 5 inches across, sizing will vary as no two coconuts are alike! Each base is carved either from Fijian mahogany or from native vesi hardwood and is uniform in shape and size. Bases measure about 6 inches long and 7 inches wide. Wood types are random and will vary. Easy to clean. Care instructions will be provided with your order. Made in Fiji.
