Japanese Cigarette Box

Vintage Japanese cigarette box. Finished in a black lacquer with Mother of Pearl inlays on the lid, this box holds a metal ashtray and a separate space for cigarettes. The outer lid features a man and a child standing at the water’s edge with birds flying overhead, ducks on the water, and a pagoda on the shore.
